William Monahan Focusing On Las Vegas 2

He's giving the script a polishJust yesterday it had been reported that Departed scribe William Monahan was searching to reunite using the film's director Martin Scorsese for any remake of 1974 drama The Gambler. While co-authors/company directors Robert Rodriguez and Frank Burns happen to be developing the follow up for a long time, it's needed to watch for Rodriguez' schedule to spread out up but for the funding to lock into place. It may be shot as soon as this season - this is actually the nearest we have been and when it is going to happen, it is going to happen this season. Despite the fact that Burns may be the guy behind Las Vegas in the graphic novel form, it seems that both he and Rodriguez think the most recent draft may need Monahan's touch, so he's been hired to polish up. It's only some of the factor he's focusing on at this time either: Monahan seemed to be among the authors who done Tron Legacy director Frederick Kosinski's next pic, Horizons (formerly Oblivion), that is now searching for stars to star alongside Tom Cruise...
